Dinner and show


The Package

Our Dinner and Show deal is ideal for a romantic night out, hosting out of town clients or for your next function.

For only $65 per person, the package includes a meal at either Aberdeen, The Brewer's Apprentice, Mao Bar or Nosh at Travelodge plus a ticket to the current show at Centrepoint Theatre.

This is an exclusive opportunity to experience the best Palmerston North has to offer in fine dining and professional theatre. 

Below are the set menus for all four restaurants. Please note that these are subject to change.

All bookings for dinner and show are to be made through Centrepoint Theatre on 354 5740. Centrepoint staff will make all dinner reservations on behalf of the patrons. For enquiries please email vanessa@centrepoint.co.nz

PAYMENT:

For the dinner and show package, all tickets must be paid for at the time of booking. Dinner reservations cannot be made without payment and must be made no later than a week in advance. Any additional food or beverage is to be paid for at the restaurant.

Thursday - Saturday the show starts at 8pm so dinner bookings will be made for no later than 6:00pm. For Wednesday shows at 6:30pm and Sunday shows at 5pm, reservations will be made for AFTER the performance.

PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL MENUS ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE,  These menus will be updated in January 2012 for the new show season.

Garlic Bread Baked herb & garlic loaf served with aioli and balsamic reduction or

Salt and Pepper Squid Flash fried and served with salad and a chilli lime mayo or

Soup of the Day Served with toasted ciabatta.

Red Jade Beef Strips of succulent beef with shitake mushrooms in an aromatic oyster sauce served on a bed of rice or

Carbonara Bacon and Mushroom penne pasta in a garlic cream sauce or

Malaysian Chicken Curry An authentic dish from South East Asia with coconut and coriander flavours, served with rice, Roti bread, mango puree and yoghurt raita or

Mushroom and Thyme Risotto Thyme and white wine risotto with braised Portobello mushrooms and crisp herbs or

Cajun Chicken Salad Oven baked chicken strips on a fresh green salad dressed with a mango coulis and topped with crunchy kumara shards or

Thai Green Vegetable Curry A mild coconut flavoured curry with seasonal vegetables and a serving of rice. Can also be served with beef or chicken

Apple and Blueberry Pie Homemade apple and blueberry pie made with sweet pastry, served with Kapiti vanilla bean ice-cream and fresh cream or

Passion Fruit Tarts Three mini passion fruit tarts served with raspberry sorbet and berry coulis or

Sweet Wontons Nut and chocolate parcels with Kapiti Vanilla Bean ice-cream
