How Do You Overcome The Distance Between Where You’re From And Where You Are?

Frangipani Perfume is a grown-up fairy-tale, where three sisters, who couldn’t be more different, clean by night and dream by day - but unlike Cinderella there is no storybook prince to save them.

This slice of life comedy movingly navigates the gaps between myth, memory and banal reality for those that have left their home in search of a better life. Named one of the top-ten New Zealand plays of the 2000s by The Listener, Frangipani Perfume tenderly and hilariously captures the struggles and dreams of those who are stuck between where they are and where they want to be.
