Welcome to Attic Players, the most fun you’ll have keeping your brain in shape! This class is all about laughter, creativity, and saying “yes” to whatever comes your way. Perfect for anyone 65 and older, we’ll dive into playful improv and theatre games that spark joy, keep your mind sharp, and guarantee a good time.

No experience? No worries! There’s no pressure, no physical requirements, and no way to get it wrong—just show up, have fun, and let the giggles flow. You’ll be amazed at how much your quick thinking and imagination shine through. Workshops are altered to be accessible and accommodate attendees needs. From improv to script work, from characters to scene creating and even public speaking - we'll do a bit of everything!

So, whether you’re here to try something new, meet fun people, or just have a good laugh, Attic Players is the place to be. Come and let’s make some unforgettable moments together! No commitment required, these are casual drop in sessions, attend when you can.

YOUR TUTOR

Leona Revell was a founding member of SpontaneoUS and is a two time National Theatresports Champion with them.

Leona is a familiar face on stages around Manawatū and as a tutor of Theatresports in High schools.  

Leona is passionate about the Palmerston North community, which fits in well with her role as Centrepoint’s Outreach Director where she creates inclusive and wide-ranging community performance projects.

Leona recently became the new International Theatresports Institute Regional Representative for the Oceania and South Pacific region for 2025.
