Join our Pasifika Fun classes for a 8-week exploration of improv comedy, storytelling, and cultural expression. No experience needed! Boost your confidence and unleash your creativity in a supportive environment celebrating the unique voices of Pasifika youth. 

This course is free to attend and begins with a feed and fellowship time. 

Ages 13-18

Jon Samia has a degree in Theatre and Film from Canterbury University and a Diploma in teaching from Massey University, and currently teaches at Palmerston North Girls High School.

Jon is passionate about theatre and has been involved in many local theatre productions and a member of SpontaneoUS Improv Company at Centrepoint Theatre. Jon has a passion to nurture the creative talent of all Pasifika students to help them develop their own unique stage craft.

Leona Revell is a founding member and co-director of SpontaneoUS, the resident improv company for Centrepoint Theatre. With SpontaneoUS she is a two time National Theatresports Champion.

Leona is a familiar face on stages around Manawatū and as a tutor of Theatresports in High schools.  

Leona is passionate about the Palmerston North community, which fits in well with her role as Centrepoint’s Outreach Coordinator where she creates inclusive and wide-ranging community performance projects.
